Siemens NX Webinar Series to Take Place in November

A live six-part webinar series on Siemens PLM's NX program tool - presented by Swoosh Technologies - will take place in November for CAM, CAD, and CAE users.

A leading provider and partner of Siemens PLM, Swoosh Technologies will begin their newest webinar series on the popular NX CAM, CAD, and CAE program tools. The live sessions (taking place on Tuesdays & Thursdays from November 3 - 19 at 2PM Central Time) will highlight features and capabilities from each program tool and offer NX users ideas and tips to tailor to their own production process.

"Every company has their own way of managing their entire process in NX, but what if there is a better way or an easier solution to a certain task? Whether you're utilizing CAD, CAM, or CAE, we want you to approach how you're using NX differently," explains Dan Wibbenmeyer, Managing Partner of Swoosh Technologies. "The purpose of the series is to offer users - whether beginner or advanced - a better understanding of NX along with unique, new ways on using certain features and capabilities within the program tools. We want our audience to be able to implement bits and pieces of what they saw from the session and fit it into their own production process."

The series will give the program tools its own week - beginning with CAM and ending with CAE. Each will highlight features and capabilities that are most popular among NX users. During CAM week (Nov. 3 and 5), Application Engineer Dale Dewiel will cover topics including post-processing, multi-axis machining, feature based macining (FBM), mill turning, and ECO. Fellow Application Engineer Garrett Koch will lend his knowledge on NX Layout and Realize Shape during CAD week (Nov. 10 and 12). To conclude the series, Application Engineer Director/Managing Partner David Chiu will present the topics of simulation modeling & analysis and multiphysics - CAE's most in-demand features.

Users can register for each webinar free of charge. All sessions will be presented live in Siemens NX 10 by Swoosh Technologies, and all who register will receive a replay of the webinar
